Alfy Gathorne-Hardy

Alfy is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Resource Use for Food Security whilst his work spans academia, consultancy, parliament and government. Alfy’s academic research examines the interactions and trade-offs between different players in socio-ecological systems, particularly in relation to global food systems. As an interdisciplinary researcher, Alfy’s research approach bridges agricultural and biological science with social science in the context of conservation, climate change, and natural resource management.
