About Ashish

Ashish is a microbial ecologist and soil scientist interested in understanding the role of microbes in the dynamics of soil carbon under differing management approaches and in various landscapes. Ashish has applied his biogeochemistry skillset to comparing grasslands with crop management, exploring the impact of peatland restoration, investigating the effect of drought on microbial ecophysiology, and understanding how tree planting impacts soil carbon in the long-term.
