Professor Patrick Meir

Patrick is a Professor of Ecosystem Science. He is interested in the functioning of tropical forest ecosystems, and how this varies in relation to climate, soils and species composition. Patrick’s work combines plant ecophysiology with remote sensing and vegetation model development to study the functioning and resilience of tropical forests with respect to climate, soil resources, species composition and land use.
