About Rogelio

Rogelio explores the different ways in which nature matters: as a material and economic resource, as part of our cultures and identities, and as a community of beings beyond humankind. He researches these ‘environmental values’ by combining environmental philosophy (understanding different concepts of value) with human geography (understanding how places matter to people). Recent fieldwork locations include Chile, Spain and the USA, zooming in on topics like agriculture, reservoirs and coexistence with wild carnivores.
