The Future of Forests. What will the boreal forests look like in 100 years from now? What is resilience and why is it important for the future of forests? What is the role of forests in mitigating climate change?

The Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe) recently published a blog by Dr Annie Yang titled 'Climate change plan update and Scottish woodland creation: getting the balance right'.

Earlier this year, the Landscapes as Carbon Sinks project team ran three workshops on building a wood-based bioeconomy in construction, which included partners across the value chain.

The Landscapes as Carbons Sinks team have recently completed the work they have done for the Scottish Land Commission, which has now been published.

Dr Renée Kerkvliet-Hermans has drawn up a report which provides policy background and information on carbon emissions and sequestration in the construction industry, along with
recommendations for policy.
